WISDOM
The 2024 Big Bear Yoga Festival was full of twists and turns.
Dear Friends,
First, thank you. If you attended, planned to attend, or even considered joining us last year, we want you to know how deeply we appreciate your support—and your patience.
We know the unexpected fire emergency and the last-minute changes to the Big Bear Yoga Festival were far from ideal. While last year brought unexpected challenges, it also gave us the opportunity to listen, learn, and grow so we can create an even more uplifting and seamless experience for you this year and in the future.
We’ve Learned So Much & Taken Meaningful Steps Moving Forward:
✅ Back-Up Locations Secured
We’ve confirmed multiple alternate venues in case the Performing Arts Center becomes unavailable again. Our goal is to protect the experience you expect—no matter what challenges arise. You can check out the back-up plan and locations here. We know the area is at risk for something impacting the festival again, it is part of life in Southern California. But we are better prepared and ready. As we move forward we will continue to look for and secure venues to expand and shore-up our events.
✅ Emergency Communication Plan
We’ve created a reliable old fashioned phone tree system so we can reach attendees directly, even if social media, email, or internet is down. You’ll always know where to go and what to expect.
✅ Stronger Protocols, Smoother Communication
We’ve refined every part of our event response plan. We’re prepared to respond quickly, communicate clearly, and guide you with care if anything unexpected happens again.
We’re Not Just Hosting a Festival — We’re Holding Space for You
Big Bear Yoga Festival is about more than classes and schedules. It’s about community. Healing. Belonging. And we are fiercely committed to creating a space where you feel seen, supported, and safe.
We hope to see you again this year —October 4, 2025.
If you have any questions or concerns, we’re here. Please reach out directly. Your voice matters—and it shapes how we move forward.
With care, resilience, and deep gratitude,
Annalisa Berns
