Big Bear Yoga Festival returns to the Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Big Bear Lake, California. The PAC location offers multiple class spaces indoors and outside.


Big Bear Yoga Festival will be held on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th. The festival features over 70 classes and activities on the schedule.


Attendees can choose from a wide range of yoga classes, lectures, vegetarian food, live music, performances, and guided meditation. This year includes Odissi dance performance by Nilanjana Banerjee of RDM Studio and Aerial Arts performances.

A full children's activity schedule is available this year with yoga, face painting, nature walks, and activities are also available with a parent or guardian. Children 12 and under are FREE at Big Bear Yoga Festival.

This year actor and yoga teacher, Dorian, will be the Host. 

The Evening After Glow is Saturday night, 7-10pm and features Buddhi Yoga with Jeanne Iridescent, Soulful Music with Ryan Heflin, Goddess Yoga with Chelsea Cano, Music with Joss Jaffe and closes with a Soundbath with Ashley Yau. It will be a mesmerizing and immersive evening experience at Big Bear Yoga Festival. After Glow has been curated to energize and nourish mind, body, and soul. There will be a drum circle, Buddhi yoga session, Goddess dancing, sound bath, binaural beats, live soulful musical performance, and more.

The goal of Big Bear Yoga Festival is to bring incredible yoga teachers, dance, wellness information, vibrant music, inspirational topics, vegetarian food and fun activities to the Big Bear Valley, Mountain Communities, and Inland Empire. All ages are welcome, and all ranges of yoga experience. Those new to yoga and beginners are especially welcome. 

Free parking is offered in the Village at 630 Knickerbocker Road, which is adjacent to the shops in the Village. Free public use of the Big Bear Trolley from Big Bear Lake Village connects attendees with the Village and the Festival this year.

Big Bear Yoga Festival Enthusiastically Announces In-Person Fall Festival Dates, Schedule and Host Leon Walker

Big Bear Yoga Festival returns to an in-person event this fall at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Big Bear Lake, California. 

The festival returns to a two-day line-up this year. Teachers and students alike are excited to come back together for a weekend of yoga, music, lectures, vegetarian food and fun. 

The festival is returning to the PAC location, which offers multiple class spaces indoors and outside. Big Bear Yoga Festival will be held on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd. 

Attendees can choose from a wide range of yoga classes, lectures, vegetarian food, live music and guided meditation. 

A full children's activity schedule is available this year with yoga, face painting, nature walks, story time, and activities are also available with a parent or guardian. Children 12 and under are FREE at Big Bear Yoga Festival.

This year comedian and yoga teacher Leon Walker will be the Host.

Big Bear City, CA — Gillian Larson, of CBS’ Survivor Gabon fame, will be presenting at the 2nd Big Bear Yoga Festival – a California Yoga Festival. Larson will be sharing her message, “Dream it, Believe it, Prepare for it, DO IT !!” and the amazing experience of being on CBS’ television show, Survivor. Larson was bit by the bug of Survivor when she saw the very first show, and felt driven to play. She felt she was a perfect fit. Larson applied 15 times to the show over 8 years, but never gave up. She was finally picked, and at age 61 she was only one of nine over 60 to play, and the only South African to be on the show. Larson, a retired Registered Nurse, has traveled across the world backpacking, swam with Great White Sharks, and is the producer of the Reality Rally event to raise funds for Michelle’s Place, a breast cancer resource center. Larson commented, “I am honored to be the Guest Speaker at this awesome weekend event. Thank you so much for inviting me to Big Bear! I am really looking forward to being there and refreshing my energy and soul. Namaste!”

Press Releases Big Bear Yoga Hosts Inaugural Big Bear Yoga Festival August 23, 24, & 25! Music, Yoga, Food, and Fun for families and all ages! Big Bear Yoga is hosting a 3-day inaugural California Yoga Festival on August 23-25 in Big Bear Lake, CA.

The Big Bear Yoga Festival is a special health and wellness event, open to anyone who wants to enjoy the outdoors, celebrate and practice yoga, and have a great time. The Big Bear Yoga Festival has offerings that set it apart from others in Southern California, such as a special “Beginners Track”, which has easy and beginning yoga classes, learning how to meditate, and therapeutic yoga. More advanced students can come to sessions for a more intense workout, try a new style of yoga or deepen their current yoga practice. In addition, the location of the California Yoga Festival offers optional meals included in the cost of festival attendance, so that everyone has an opportunity to meet new people and “break bread” together.
