I also teach to the experienced yogi that is ready to advance his or her practice. My classes focus on the power of the pranayama coupled with correct alignment for a safe and energizing yoga practice.

Christie Hall

Christie is a returning teacher to the Big Bear Yoga Festival line-up! She is a certified as a yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (c-IAYT) and an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) at the 200-hour level with Yoga Alliance.

Her credentials include receiving an introductory Iyengar yoga certificate in 2015 and the accomplishment of completing a master's degree in human movement in November 2009 through the Arizona School of Health Sciences, AT Still University.

Christie came to yoga as many people do, because of physical suffering. "Suffering from joint and disc degeneration, I began studying yoga in 1995. The pain relief brought on by regular practice led me to want to share the gift of yoga and to start teaching in 1997. I have studied continuously with senior teachers of Iyengar yoga since 1997."
