FEATURED SPEAKER Gillian Larson of CBS’ Survivor Gabon
Announcing the 2nd Big Bear Yoga Festival, Aug 22-24, 2014

Big Bear City, CA — Gillian Larson, of CBS’ Survivor Gabon fame, will be presenting at the 2nd Big Bear Yoga Festival.

Larson will be sharing her message, “Dream it, Believe it, Prepare for it, DO IT !!” and the amazing experience of being on CBS’ television show, Survivor. Larson was bit by the bug of Survivor when she saw the very first show, and felt driven to play. She felt she was a perfect fit. Larson applied 15 times to the show over 8 years, but never gave up. She was finally picked, and at age 61 she was only one of nine over 60 to play, and the only South African to be on the show.

Larson, a retired Registered Nurse, has traveled across the world backpacking, swam with Great White Sharks, and is the producer of the Reality Rally event to raise funds for Michelle’s Place, a breast cancer resource center.

Larson commented, “I am honored to be the Guest Speaker at this awesome weekend event. Thank you so much for inviting me to Big Bear! I am really looking forward to being there and refreshing my energy and soul. Namaste!”
